The Vub Etterbeek & Jette Campuses host several watering holes for its students and staff depending on what you are in the mood for and what time it is….


       -----------------------ETTERBEEK CAMPUS-----------------------       

What is often termed as the liveliest of the two, this very central campus has four different establishments, not including the numerous ones located around. Each of these provide a variety of different atmospheres and accommodate to students, staff, and city dwellers.

This place is almost constantly full. Very conveniently located between a variety of lecture halls it provides one with a variety of quick meal and snack options as well numerous drinks catering to all hours of the day-from Italian coffees, choco lattes (always served with a little chocolate) to wines and beers.  Great place to run through and grab a coffee and sandwich on the run to a next set of lectures, to shelter oneself in a cosy area on a rainy day, or to have a post lecture aperitif.

Amongst its other functions and events, it is equally a bar open to all. A cosy and warm atmosphere with its wooden tables and spacial interior set the scene. Nice to study in during the early afternoon hours, to do group work in a relaxed ambience, or more popularly to get the evening started amongst friends while taking in a multitude of cultural events (LINK TO CULTURE) organised through out the year.

To get a 'home-cooked' filling meal this is the place to go. For a decent price there is a daily self-service buffet composed of cold and hot meals. In the spirit of internationalisation, there are a number of international meals called 'Meals of the World' within the running menu, with an updated calendar letting you know exactly what country's food will be served when. There is also a small side-shop (Cafeteria) selling a variety of other snacks.

 Last, but not least there is the gym-based cafeteria.If you are on the run and needing a quick snack or drink you can always jump by to grab it here.

    MAIN CAFETERIA    

The cafeteria here is a bit on a smaller scale than on the Etterbeek Campus. Nevertheless, it still provides students with a filling meal at a decent price and all the same options as mentioned above.

or a much needed coffee due to the all-nighter from last nights celebrations.


SPORTOPOLIS

The cafe situated within the gym provides students with an additional spot to go to when hungry, be it on the way to lectures, a much needed boost before a sports class, or simply before or after your workout.
